Vanda Cirule has been appointed for the post of the senator of the Department of Civil Cases of the Senate

This week Vanda Cirule started her work in the post of the Senator of the Department of Civil Cases of the Senate.
The decision about appointment of Vanda Cirule, the judge of the Chamber of Civil Cases of the Supreme Court, for the vacant post of the senator of the department was adopted in general meeting of senators of the Department of Civil Cases of the Senate on the 18th of May.
Vanda Cirule was born in1953. She graduated Faculty of Law of State University of Latvia.
V. Cirule had worked as a legal adviser in municipality and the Ministry of Justice. In 1986 she was appointed for the post of the judge of the court of October district of Riga city. However, since 1993 she has been the judge of the Supreme Court.
Vanda Cirule acquired the 1st judicial qualification class. She worked as an expert in work group for protection of rights to intellectual property created by the Prime minister. V. Cirule is awarded with Sign of Honour of the System of Justice.
