Zigmants Gencs, the Chairman of the Department of Civil Cases of the Senate of the Supreme Court prepared book “Comments to Civil Law. Part Two. Succession (Section 655-686)”, published by Court House Agency.

Issues of application of law related to disclosure and protection of inheritance, legacy claim, inheritance acceptance and acquisition, mutual relations of co-heirs and distribution of inheritance, as well as expiration and loss of succession.

Case-law materials and judicature of the Senate are used in comments widely. Insight in succession of other countries is also provided in the book.

The book is valuable supplement to comments to Civil Law in succession published in 1997, which were prepared by Zigmants Gencs with the senator Rolands Krauze.
