On 18 November, Ivars Bickovics, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, together with the highest state officials participated in festive events dedicated to the 97th anniversary of proclamation of the Republic of Latvia.
The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court laid down flowers by the Monument of Freedom and watched the military parade of Armed Forces.
