On March 22, Senator Ermīns Darapoļskis takes up judicial duties in the Department of Administrative Cases of the Senate (Supreme Court). The senator will commence to administer justice after taking the oath before the State President.

He applied for the position of senator by participating in an open competition. The Department of Administrative Cases of the Senate gave a positive opinion on the nomination of Ermīns Darapoļskis for confirmation as a senator.

The Saeima (parliament) confirmed Ermīns Darapoļskis as a judge of the Supreme Court on February 23.
