PRESIDENTS OF THE SUPREME JUDICIAL COURTS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION EXPRESS SOLIDARITY WITH THE JUDICIARY OF POLAND

On 16 May the Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union published a statement expressing concern about the activities of Polish authorities regarding the planned appointment procedure of the President of the Supreme Court and changes in the work of the Council for the Judiciary.
Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union joins the opinions expressed by the European Commission and the Venice Commission and expresses its solidarity with the judiciary of Poland.
