On the 4th of December, judges of the Constitutional Court of Tajikistan visited the Supreme Court. In conversation with Janis Neimanis, the senator of the Department of Administrative Cases of the Senate, they acquainted themselves with experience of implementation of administrative courts and litigation in administrative cases in Latvia.
Guests were also acquainted with facts of Latvian court history and saw historical building of the Palace of Justice.
Visit also included visiting the Constitutional Court and Riga Graduate School of Law, as well as meeting with advocates specialising in field of public and constitutional law.
Visit of the Constitutional Court of Tajikistan to Latvia was organised by German Association for International Cooperation (GIZ) within framework of programme “Support to rule of law in Central Asia”. After their visit to Latvia, the delegation will go to Germany to continue acquainting themselves with experience in field of European constitutional law.
