Continuing publishing comments to the Civil Procedure Law, public joint-stock company "Tiesu namu agentura" has published the second part of comments encompassing chapters 29-60.1 of the Civil Procedure Law. The scientific editor of comments is Kalvis Torgans, the professor, Dr.habil.iur., real member of the LAS, the senator of the Supreme Court.

Except for the senator Torgans, the group of authors also includes several other professionals of the Supreme court: Gunars Aigars, the Chairman of the Chamber of Civil Cases, Zigmants Gencs, the Chairman of the Department of Civil Cases of the Senate, the senators Valerijans Jonikans, Edite Vernusa, Aldis Lavins, the judge of the Chamber of Civil Cases Dr.iur Zane Pētersone and assistant to the senator Mg.iur.Gunvaldis Davidovics.

Comments were prepared taking into account amendments to the Civil Procedure Law and other legal standards used in comments announced before the 31st of July, 2012.

The book is important contribution to analysis of case-law, clarification of content of legal standards applicable in civil proceedings and to development of civil procedure science in general.
