Today, 21 March, in his address at the General Assembly of Latvian Notaries, the President of the Supreme Court Aigars Strupišs thanked notaries for their work, appreciating the ability of notary’s office to evolve autonomously and efficiently according to existing circumstances.
"I always refer to the notary’s office as an example of how an organisation and its work can be effectively developed through effective management. New working methods, new IT solutions – all this contributes to ensuring the rule of law in Latvia," said the President of the Supreme Court.
The President of the Supreme Court appreciated the ability of the Latvian notary’s office to cope effectively with challenges, even in these changing times. "New working methods were created during the Covid pandemic, new challenges related to anti-money laundering and international sanctions are being accepted – the notary’s office is successfully dealing with everything," said Aigars Strupišs.
