The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court accepts vow of bailiff

On the 29^th of February the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court accepted vow of Daina Priedniece, the sworn bailiff of Riga regional court.

“There is no fair justice without sentence executed” said Ivars Bickovics, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court having accepted the vow, thus indicating essential importance of bailiffs in court system.  

The Minister of Justice appointed Daina Priedniece in the post of bailiff in the 75^th circuit of Riga regional court. New bailiff will start executing her duties as from the 1^st of March.
