To meet colleagues from the department of Administrative Cases and to get familiarised with management experience of the Administration of the Supreme Court, Romans Kaydashev, the Head of the Administration of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Ukraine, visited the Supreme Court.
The guest met Sandra Lapina, the Head of the Administration of the Supreme Court, Veronika Krumina, the Chair of the Department of Administrative Cases, and Jautrite Briede, the judge of the department. The guest got familiarised with organisation of work and technical means of the Supreme Court, having looked into the court room, classroom, library, offices of judges and assistants to judges, and got insight into history of the court, visiting the museum of the Supreme Court and historical premises of the Senate.
Although life and work of courts in the Ukraine currently has been perplexed by war conditions, many problems of courts in the Ukraine and Latvia are similar. Therefore, the exchange of experience is useful. Representatives of the Department of Administrative Cases of the Supreme Court of Latvia visited the Ukraine last October, participating in the international conference dedicated to the decade of administrative courts of the Ukraine.
