CEPEJ COMMENCES EVALUATION OF THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM OF LATVIA

One of the issues looked at during the 25th Plenary Meeting on 29 and 30 June of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) in Strasbourg is the Commission's cooperation programs, among which there is also an assessment of the judicial system of Latvia.

JUDGES OF THE SUPREME TAKE PART IN PREPARATION OF COMMENTARIES ON THE CONSTITUTION

On Wednesday, May 31, the fourth volume of the Scientific Commentaries on Satversme (Constitution) was officially opened in Riga Castle. One of the authors of the commentaries is also Veronika Krūmiņa, Chair of the Department of Administrative Cases of the Supreme Court, and Jautrīte Briede, Judge of the Department of Administrative Cases of the Supreme Court.
